Watch John MacArthur Online
Woohoo, now I (we all, rather) can watch John MacArthur preach online. Wonderful! Hope I could see him preach in person soon, Lord willing. I love his expository preaching. I’m not inclined toward his Dispensational leanings, though. ![]()

Hi, Great to know that you are doing well…got your email…just wanted to ask you which web hosting service are you using for your site…I too have been looking around but haven’t been able to settle on one. I looked at Bluehost, godaddy, and others. Are you satisfied with the service of the one you have…could you also recommend me some other ones as well. Also would you know of any christian software developer who has experience using open source in website development and maybe some java and ajax in building social networking websites…if yes could you please send me his email…thanks and take care, love and grace, RCD (Phil1:21)

Roscoe, I’m using HostGator.com to host my sites. They’ve been very reliable and let me host as many domains as I want on the same package. The only issue I have is that I can’t set up subdomains (subdomain.domain.com) without paying for a more expensive package.
I have a small bit of experience using open-source software to build Web sites, but nothing as elaborate as Java and Ajax. Elance.com and Scriptlance.com may be good sources to check out for affordable bids. I’ve had excellent, fast, and inexpensive work done for me on Scriptlance before.
Jessica, I agree with your stance on dispensationalism. Being postmillenial myself, I’m inclined toward an optimistic long-term view of the future. It seems that dispensational ways of thinking about the future are common even in Reformed circles.

I heard MacArthur preach about a month ago at Grace Community Church. The service is structured to be biblical at every point. I loved it. Great sermon too, but he did throw in some dispensational interpretations in.

Jessica,
Glad to hear that you enjoy John MacArthur. I had the opportunity to listen to him preach three days in a row a few years back while at The Southern Baptist Seminary.
You may already be aware of this - if one will write to Grace to You | P.O. Box 920 | Santa Clarita, Ca. 91380-9020 and ask to be put on their mailing list - they will receive a letter each month from GTY offering either a free CD with a message preached by Dr. MacArthur or one of John’s books. Of course they will ask you to make a gift “if possible” to GTY. However, the GTY offering each month is not obligated to any monetary gift. If someone cannot afford to send a monetary gift - GTY provides the free CD or book offer anyway.

Enjoy your day
To God alone be glory through Jesus Christ forever. Amen.

I don’t listen to MacArthur much (although my former rommate did), so I don’t know which of those podcasts is best. Try and see.

I’m listening to James Boice from one of the links on your home page.
My pastor quotes Dr. Boice much in his messages. Yes, the dispensational part of Macarthur bugs me..lol. BUT, he’s so good, but I have neglected his work though. I do better and watch the video.
In Christ Alone,
Ken

Like Adam’s comment above, I’m thankful also to know how to get on the mailing list. Thanks for sharing it with us here. I’ll be joining the list.
And Darren, thank you also for sharing the GTY RSS feed info!
I’m glad I have friends who know a lot about these cool resources and who could share with me about them.

I love John MacArthur, all of his Biblical teachings, his ministry, and his stance on the truth war and the emerging church so much that I am willing to dodge as many bullets as I can dodge for him.
