Are You a Feminist?
Okay, here’s another fun online quiz. This is my quiz result… *Drumrolls*
| You Are 0% Feminist |
![]() You believe that women belong in the kitchen…. barefoot and pregnant. |
“Every feminist’s worst nightmare… Barefoot and pregnant.” A ha ha ha…
Soo funny. Just for the record, I actually wear sandals in the kitchen at home.
And well, I wouldn’t say that a woman basically only belongs in the kitchen, though. I think a wife’s or mother’s primary and highest calling is to be “keepers at home” as described in Titus 2:3-4. Reminds me of what the great Charles Spurgeon eloquently said:
Dirty rooms, slatternly gowns, and children with unwashed faces are swift witnesses against the sincerity of those who keep others’ vineyards and neglect their own. I have no faith in that woman who talks of grace and glory abroad, and uses no soap and water at home. Let the buttons be on the shirts, let the children’s socks be mended, let the roast mutton be done to a turn, let the house be as neat as a new pin, and the home be as happy as home can be. (quoted from Spurgeon’s “A Spur for a Free Horse” from the February 1866 Sword and Trowel)
I’d be interested in seeing my friends’ result… so if you ever take it, let me know yours. Men (not just women) can take this quiz, too… (mm, does that sound egalitarian?

“A Godly woman sure should be
A Sarah to her Lord,
A Martha to her company,
A Mary to the Lord” (Spurgeon, Salt Cellars vol. I pg. 55).

Okay, I took the quiz.
Here’s my result:
44% Feminist.
You aren’t a total traditionalist when it comes to gender roles. But you’re no feminist either.
You generally think that women should be treated as equals, but you’re not convinced the world should be gender neutral.

I recalled this from Pastor Mark Driscoll (Mars Hill Church):
A feminist would expect us to treat her like a man when it is convenience. But when it is not covenience, she will say: “I’am a lady, you know. You can’t treat me like that.”

Mr. Landrum,
Wow, I love that quote. Thanks so much for sharing it. Will remember it. It’s wonderful. Charles Spurgeon is so quotable. Thanks again!

Well, Jessica, you’ll be relieved to find out that I’m definitely not a feminist.

I was curious how to get 0%. So I went extreme, still 32%; more extreme 16%, then 8% before I could get 0%
