About
A big welcome to all my visitors! Thanks so much for visiting my blog. The title of this blog is inspired by The Pilgrim’s Progress, written by a 17th century Puritan, John Bunyan. This blog is a collection of journals of my own life journey and spiritual Pilgrimage. Prior to becoming a Christian, I lived in the City of Destruction, but the Lord has graciously saved and rescued me from it. I’m so grateful that He is continually and providentially watching over me as I walk this life journey toward His Celestial City.
As I look back over my life, God has been so faithful to me. He’s watched over me through different circumstances and trials, even as I walked through the Valley of Humility, or wandered away into the dark Doubting Castle, or fell into the Swamp of Despondence. He has been so gracious in delivering me back onto the Way of His Path and is using my life experiences to teach and mold me.
I’m encouraged that in whatever valleys I may encounter, whatever rough roads I may tread, whatever swamps I may fall, whatever rivers to ford, or whichever mountains I may be climbing during my own pilgrim journey … my Guide is ever watchful, my Deliverer unfailing, and He is faithful in keeping and persevering all of His elect in the faith till we arrive at our final destination in the Celestial City—that glorious, everlasting City “built not by the hands of men.”
Thanks so much for visiting my blog. Please feel welcomed to leave a note or comment. I’d be delighted to hear from you. May you leave this site with increased joy in our gracious Lord!
