Thanks Jessica, that really helped. John Piper is such an excellent teacher of the Word of God. Sometimes as a calvinist it is so tough because i am sorrounded by arminians and semi palagians but i stick to my reformed beliefs by his Grace. Have you seen the DVD Amazing Grace: the theology and history of calvinism.
God bless

Hello TK,

There are many good articles and sermons online available that explains this doctrine. If you're interested in watching or listening to sermons on Total Depravity, Dr. John Piper did a series on the Doctrines of Grace series ... I would recommend listening to all the lectures of the whole series in order because it would give a more systematic understanding and since Total Depravity is but a part of TULIP. Here's the link to:

Dr. Piper's Resources on The Doctrines of Grace - scroll down the page and find "Seminars on the Doctrines of Grace" section where you can choose to watch or listen.

If you prefer to read instead:
Total Depravity by Dr. John Piper
Total Depravity by Dr. Loraine Boettner

I hope these may be of help and that you enjoy the study! :)

Thank you for your interest in the Puritan books. However, I have already given away the books, so there is no more copy available to give. If anyone is interested in purchasing them (or any other Puritan books), you can find them at online stores such as Monergism Books or Reformation Heritage Books.

May God continue to bless your reading and learning of Him!

Hello Jessica!

Hi Evan, thanks so much for commenting. Glad to hear you enjoyed the song I posted. It's wonderful that your church is learning Psalm 119. It has become one of my favorite Psalms along with Psalm 98. I haven't found too many churches that sing Psalms actually; and it was only in recent years that I was introduced to Psalm singing. Does your church sing a lot of Psalms on Sunday worship (or maybe exclusively the Psalms)?

Well, at any rate, thanks again for taking the time to write. May our wonderful God continue to bless you.
